Eliminating early elective deliveries points hospital down pathway of improving patient safety.
Patient safety groups, hospital leaders and others have identified eliminating early elective deliveries as a major patient safety initiative. The procedure can lead to serious complications for both the mother and baby, including admission to the NICU.

In this special report, we detail how the hospital pursued the ambitious patient safety goal.
