The Aging Workforce
The graying of America presents another challenge for hospitals: They must address the needs of a general population that is getting older while also accommodating their own aging workforce. This article presents key steps to recruiting and retaining older workers, including clinicians and nonclinicians. It also spotlights efforts by four hospitals on the AARP’s Best Companies for Workers Over 50 Program.
