SAN ANTONIO — CHIME's Fall Forum opened with some big and exciting news for H&HN, the AHA/Health Forum and CHIME: The organizations have forged a new partnership around our annual Most Wired Survey.

Standing before a packed ballroom, CHIME President and CEO Russ Branzell said that the new alliance will better enable the organization to capitalize on data and best practices captured by the survey, which assess how hospitals and health systems are implementing IT systems.

CHIME long has been a sponsor of the survey, but will be taking on a much larger role. The CIO-member group will work to incorporate Most Wired data into a host of CHIME activities. On our end, we'll also look for new ways to spread Most Wired across AHA and Health Forum programs.

So, stayed tuned for more details on the next evolution of Most Wired, some of which will kick off in 2015, with other significant innovations to follow in subsequent years.

We'll have more coverage from the CHIME Fall Forum in Thursday and Friday's edition of H&HN Daily.
