DETROIT: Virtually all of the diabetes measures in Detroit's third physician-performance report showed improvement since the first report was released. Poor control of blood sugar decreased by nearly seven percentage points.
CINCINNATI: The alliance collects data for 26 hospitals-representing more than 267,000 annual discharges-categorizing patient care by race, ethnicity and language for more than 87 percent of the region's discharges.
WILLAMETTE VALLEY, ORE.: The alliance's traffic on PartnerforQualityCare.org was up more than 600 percent in 2010 vs. 2009, with 5,800 new visitors and 7,774 total visits in just one quarter.
