Some of the smallest flies can cause the biggest problems for your health care facility. And these small flies — phorid flies, fungus gnats and drain flies — aren’t a problem you can simply swat away. They tend to feed and breed in hard-to-reach or out-of-sight areas that can be easily overlooked, so a rigorous Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program is the best solution. This webinar presented by Orkin will give you the dirt on these filthy, small flies so you can protect your facility and, most importantly, your patients, staff and visitors.
What You Will Learn
- The types of small flies that are common in the health care environment and where they are commonly found
- An understanding of the challenges and threats small flies pose
- IPM tactics that will help eliminate the sources attracting small flies and will help manage small fly activity throughout the facility
- Steps to create a strong partnership between the health care facility’s team and its pest management provider
